I totally agree with you, it was my mistake. I hadn't noticed the size limit of 6 to 9. It totally escaped me

I confirm that what you said it does, but if I try to add a "." and I try to autocomplete, it will crash 2.82 currently, and 2.83 same crash
So mesh.loop_triangles. .... autocomplete ... crash

Thanks Jacques, in fact I noticed that you have to use the operator, while instead I thought that a boolean that seems to me to control an operator already by default went to interact with them. It is an operation of little account that I solved with the use of an ops, but of impact I think that setting bpy.data.use_autopack = True or False without this actually controlling anything, I find it useless (unless be it to check the state), but I want to clarify that this is my thought and I don't want to offend anyone for this. I thought it was a bug
