We are going to discuss this with our external IT support as well and will try to figure out some possibilities for different GPU connection. We came to the use of extender cable because the mother board was overheating from the GPU so we wanted to try different type of connection.

I was informed, that the card worked without the extender and with the extender for some time as well so we assume the extender should not be a problem.
