@Philipp Oeser (lichtwerk) thanks for the task maintenance, it's ok, it's understandable. My last hope that in the future Intel could get some love from Blender in any other way.

As one more test as I usually used the really latest Intel OpenCL NEO drivers //(https://github.com/intel/compute-runtime)//, I checked what happens with the distro original drivers. Uninstalled all manually handled drivers and installed 'them' from the distro's repo. Sadly the result is the same. After I switch the rendering method from CPU to GPU Blender hangs, and I need to 'kill' it.

@Brecht Van Lommel (brecht) yes! Sorry for the delay, but some weeks earlier I tried the actual build and there were not more problems with it. So independently from what was the solution but thank(s) for the developer(s) who made/correct it:)

And lastly after some more research seems what I referred could be true but of course this is just a supposition as I did not follow the Intel IGPU history in the last some years.
