I have downloaded the last alpha today and I still have the issue.
I have uploaded the logs and the problem can be seen in there. My GPU usage before rendering is around 5.6 GB / 8 GB. It varies a bit depending the view in the viewport. Fun fact I have just discovered, depending on that view in the viewport, the "rendered mode" works sometimes. In this case I can change the view and navigate in the viewport without any issue (and even very smooth).

I have managed to reproduce the issue in a simple scene (attached file). It seems to occur with the use of modifiers subdivision surface, displace and subdivision surface again on a plane (which is also the case with projects I am working on currently and generate this error). If I desactivate a modifier and activate it again it works but very slow to render. If I change the viewport shading mode and come back to the rendered mode, this issue occurs again. I confirm that happens only with Optix, and everything works fine with Blender 3.2 Beta (I downloaded the last build yesterday).
