Looks like the code you used to detect Intel UHD doesn't work. If I add the glFlush() unconditionally then things work fine.

I don't have any freezes with X11. As far I know, Wayland is not officially supported.

Do the freezes happen only when you open a menu? Or also when panning the camera, or simply doing nothing?
