I just wanted to add that after some time the issue returned. I don't believe my graphics drivers are set to auto update but I followed my original solution of uninstalling the graphics driver from the device manager (Display Adapters->AMD Raedon RX 6900 XT) and rebooting. Note I did not click the box to remove the driver. Only uninstall.

I believe I've found a solution:
I'd updated the GPU driver from the Radeon Software Suite.
I did try the corrupt file repair. It did find something but the CBS.log's info doesn't really seem to be a relevant file that was repaired.

I've reproduced it again and the error changes
Now it's saying ntdll.dll
