And what about making it "disabled" in grey and block it so you can not change its value? So when you are in camera mode that value will be locked at 1 for example.
The second part of my report is a feature request ok, but the first one is a bug.
If you are changing the value of the Scaling Factor in that situation is doing absolutely nothing. At least it should be disabled or hidden (in that situation).

Here it is.
As you can see there are "flat" shaded faces in the ears even if the full mesh has "smooth shading". And the problem is per face.
Now I think this maybe happens when the change in the shading is extreme in one face (from total light to total shadow) ... or maybe not, I'm not sure.

Hi again guys.
Don't know if I should open a new bug or continue this one.
Right now "separate images" is not working at all. And when I get the "Separate Images - Length:" dialog, if I change the default value then blender crash.
The bug looks quite unstable. I only got it working apparently fine after loading 2 jpg files. All my other tries have ended with the followin crash. But sometimes it works a bit, bit if I change again the value, it crashs...

Ok.... so "it's a feature" ? :)
What about proposing to add the option to also split videos and not only sequences? I mean having ffmpeg already there .it should be really "easy" to do.
