I tried the patch on top of 17dddc941 (by replacing completely indexer.c due to the patch not applying as it is, even with a larger fuzzy factor) on a couple of video files and got SIGSEGV upon proxy build finishing

Based on code style in the same file, factorized the condition to determine whether transform keyframes needs to be updated.

I've created D10116 as advised. I also included the fact that either handle snapping won't change the related strip keyframes.

I had no clue it could be disabled, nor how I did so.

I've only been using Blender from the official website.
Just now, I tested with the 2.90.1 version (from https://www.blender.org/download/Blender2.90/blender-2.90.1-linux64.tar.xz ) and the problem is still present.
Can I provide more info on how to understand the issue?

I have recently dist-upgraded my debian sid, which was stable for maybe 6 months.
