When you are installing fonts they go to a folder in your profile, while Blender by default only shows the global fonts.

You have fonts both in c:\windows\fonts and in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts. If your browse to the latter you will probably see what you want. The patch referenced above makes Blender show both folders together in the same way the the Windows Explorer does

Chinese cannot be entered in blender, the text must be copied and pasted to display correctly{F13138270}
