I think it has always been like this. Nothing special about this version.
**Short description of error**
**1 - **When nodes are close together (one grid unit) the mouse hit point for the incoming socket seems off to the right.
**2 - **Also, if one node is selected, moving this node is favored over pulling out the node connection from the actual mouse position.
**Steps to Reproduce**
# Open . blend file
# Drag Group input socket and connect it to Group output (for connecting- need to move noddle to the right from actual socket position)

# Open .blend file
# select Group output node
# Drag mouse from Group input socket to make connection. (Instead of generating Noodle mouse starts moving selected node)

It's probably a minor thing, but happens quite often. Solving this would make the node editor much nicer to use.
