**Short description of error**
When i add an empty image object with an iamge attached, blender stucks for a while randomly, only if i delete the empty image object, the random stuck stops.
Even with the add-ons and open cl turned off and the bug appears

Add an empty image object with an image attached
Add a cube (or any mesh)
