Hi. Firstly thanks for all the great work! Here is an issue I discovered - after upgrading from 2.80 to 2.82 I have noticed a large drop in the performance in editing view in 'Viewport Shading' mode. However, the performance improves back to what it used to be when switching on the 'x-ray' option. Even when I move it all the way up to 0.995 it is smooth, but from the moment it is set to 1 the frame rate drops back significantly.

**Short description of error**
[Please fill out a short description of the error here]Hi. Firstly thanks for all the great work! Here is an issue I discovered - after upgrading from 2.80 to 2.82 I have noticed a large drop in the performance in editing view in 'Viewport Shading' mode. Previously it was very smooth but with this new version the frame rate is barely usable. However, the performance improves back to what it used to be when switching on the 'x-ray' option. Even when I move it all the way up to 0.995 it is smooth, but from the moment it is set to 1 the frame rate drops back significantly.
