Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)
**Short description of error**
very small error since it was on 2.81a (Needs triage, wish I could self set to not important)
Back space to remove gaps was broken (had to use shift S for a long time)
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
create two strips and press backspace (remove gap shortcut)- nothing happened
manually navigated to strips -> transform -> remove gaps - nothing happened
other things tested
selected two strips and placed play head in between and then attempted backspace - nothing happened
pressed g / move strip then pressed backspace - nothing happened
I believe only shift g (creating meta strips) that it actually works (nvm, it doesn't)
created two strips and press shift equals (insert gap shortcut) - inserted like 10 frame gap
