**Blender Version**
Broken: version: 3.3.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2022-07-25 01:03, hash: `rB7808ee9bd73d`
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)
**Short description of error**
Changing the scale of a reference image and applying scale gives a popup message, and clicking at this popup message then crashes to desktop.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
- Open the attached Blend file
- Switch to orthographic front view to see the reference image
- Rescale it
- Go to Object > Apply and apply scale
- Click at the popup message
- Crash to desktop
I still wonder where this popup even comes from. Because normally you can simply apply the scale. And i am not aware that i did something fancy with the background image.
There is also a little blue dot in the scene that isn't referenced anywhere. Maybe this is related.
