**System Information**
Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
**Blender Version**
Broken: 2.8 latest build (687f1df5dbe2)
**Short description of error**
Adding hashes (#) in my filename output does not let me save an image with a number of padded zeroes- the image simply does not save at all. (See "File Path" section on [[ https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/render/output/output.html | this page ]].)
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
1. Using any scene set to export to image files, set the exporting file path to "//#####.PNG" or "/tmp\#####.PNG."
2. Render the scene. What should happen is that a file with zeroes padded up to 5 digits should be outputted, but no file gets saved at all.
Here is an example .blend that should save "F00001.PNG" upon render.
