**Short description of error**
When you create a Particles System and select Hair, the hair particles don't show in Viewport on macOS 10.13.6, only it is showed a single hair, independently of the total number of particles but if you change to Particle Edit Mode the particles are showed.
The issue appears in Object Mode > Solid Shade,
Rest of Modes > X-Ray, Wireframe, Material Preview and Redered (Eevee & Cycles) work fine.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
1. Open the default startup file.
2. Select the Cube and create a Particle System.
3. Change the Particle System to Hair.
4. A single hair is showed in viewport in Object Mode (and viewport shading: solid), if you change to Particle Edit Mode the hair particles are showed.
