**Short description of error**
Gabor noise has nasty high frequency artefacts. I looked at the code a few years ago, and the problem at the time was that the Gaussian kernel used for filtering has as sharp cutoff -- it is just set to 0 for x larger than some maximum, which creates a small shelf that shows up as nastiness. I suspect it's the same problem, but since no one actually uses Gabor noise (but they should!) it hasn't been a high priority. Seems it would be an easy fix ? {F12842664}
