**Short description of error**
I didn't know where else to post my problem here so I hope this is alright.
Adding a simple plane for area lights drastically increases render time (8-10x). I have checked that this only happens because of the plane. Removing only the plane solves the problem. I don't understand why this happens.
Furthermore, when I make the plan invisible (properties - ray visibility - unchecking camera) the reflections stay as they are but the material becomes less shiny (more matt).
Please find attached the file as well as the HDRI{F13032202}. {F13032201}
Thank you very much in advance for any help!
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).
