**Short description of error**
When another object is set as a pivot for mirror modifier, the clipping option only works in edit mode but not in object mode.
I don't know if it is the designed behavior, a bug or a limitation but I've created this report as it doesn't work as expected.
**Expected behavior**
The geometry should clip in object mode, just like in the edit mode.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**

Open the attached blend file.
Try moving the plane in edit mode and then in object mode.
Do the same for the curve.
