**Short description of error**
In Multires Sculpting when you add subdivisions and when you use Apply Base to sculpts creates artifacts on the mesh all over my work.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
1. Start Blender
2. Add a multires modifier to the default cube
3. Enter sculpt mode
4. Add subdivision 6 to 9 subdivisions
5. Sculpt
6. Use apply changes to base mesh
7. You can see a lot of artifacts in your mesh now.
