**System Information**
Operating system: Win10 Pro
Graphics card: GTX 560 Ti
**Blender Version**
3.1
**Short description of error**
Blender always forgets the followingsaves all other stereo-related settings every time it starts:required for a 3D stereo workflow on the file:
- Output Properties / Stereoscopy / Enabled, Stereo 3D, Left, Right.
- Camera / Stereoscopy / Mode, Interocular Distance, Pivot.
- Sidebar / Lock Camera to View, Stereoscopy settings
- View / Cameras / Frame Camera Bounds
But it does not save the following settings:
- Convergence Plane Distance in Camera / Stereoscopy.
- Stereo mode defined in the Window / Set stereo 3D tab,
Since as been said stereo mode is hardware dependent, I think
that the stereo mode should also be saved in the file, but the Output Properties / Stereoscopy / should be saved as disabled, so another user could decide whether to enable it or not, and adjust the stereo mode according to their own preferences.
I also think that these settings should be saved as user-preferences too, so every time a user who needs to enable stereo, will not have to re-adjust everything.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
1. Load the demo blend file,
2. select camera. in the camera properties / Stereoscopy change the Convergence Plane Distance value to 10. You'll see the monkey left and right images come together.
3. in Window / / Set stereo 3D tab change the mode to Interlace, Row inteleaved.
4. save the file.
Set eg interlace mode,5. row interleaved, reopen it. exit and restartYou'll see both settings mentioned above changed.
