I do not know if this is an ongoing issue or if it is new. I have not tried this before
**Short description of error**
Setting SubSteps on a dynamic paint waves canvas seems to cancel out a copy location constraint on the brush object.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps
Create a plane and make it the dynamic Paint Canvas, set to Waves for the Surface Type.
Create a second plane, add an object constraint: Shrinkwrap, set to the canvas plane.
Create another object (cube, sphere, icosphere), set to dynamic paint brush, add object constraint: copy location, set to the second plane.
Run the animation and it works as expected. The brush object bounces around.
On the canvas plane, set the dynamic paint sub-steps to anything other than 0.
Run the animation - the copy location constraint on the brush object no longer works. It just sits there and the wave system dissipates.
I tried to attach a blend file illustrating the error, but attaching the file does not seem to work (on Google Chrome browser).
