**Short description of error**
I have noticed that there is a lot of lag when using many instances with geometry nodes, using the realize instances node eliminates this lag. The outline selected does not highlight the outline very well, it seems calculated for each instance separately and not by the resulting geometry.

The behavior can be easily reproduced with the geometry node configuration seen in the video
