**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
- Have the Sequencer open, but no preview.
- Add a movie strip.
- In the Sidebar open Source.
- The Resolution will be 'none'.
The bug is that the resolution is not none, just because there is no preview.
Switching an area to Preview and the Resolution will be right.

Note: The Movie Clip Editor also has the Resolution present, and maybe this way is a better way to extract the resolution info? The Sequencer would also benefit from having color bit and fps exposed, as the MCE has:
