**adding an RGBcurve node to a HDRI environment node in the world shader and modifying 1 colorchannel turns the HDRI into that color and the light coming from the HDRI in the opposite or complementary color**
**default cube,Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
-default cube,
- material metallic no roughness (to see the reflection of the Hdri.).
- add a white plane under the cube (to see the color of the reflected light.).
- set up an Hdri in the world shader, and
- add an RGBcurve node between the environment texture and the background. then
- open one channel.
- in the RGB curve (e.g. red) and drag the curve into a corner, upper left or lower right. the
The HDRI will turn red and the light reflected will be cyan, or vice versa.
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible). I did not include the Hdri, but it works with any Hdri. so just attach a Hdri in the node.{F12672651}
