**Short description of error**
Going back to Object mode in Solid Display mode turns cavity back on.
I like to work with cavity off for extra performance so I have to turn it off every single time I'm entering object mode.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
Create a cube, uncheck cavity in shading, go edit something and then when you exit edit and enter object mode cavity will be checked again.
**and FYI viewport performance visibly decreased after I upgraded to Mojave last night. Was much better in High Sierra.
