**Short description of error**
Eevee contact shadows is darkening all objects even objects that don't have any contact with each other. The shadow areas with contact are also darker than before. It worked fine 2 weeks ago. It affects all types of lights. See images below for comparison and attach file.

Notice the highlight areas of many cubes are darker even in the areas without contact with each other.
**Exact steps for others to reproduce the error**
1. Load attach file.
2. See view mode to render.
3. Check/Uncheck the contact shadows.
4. Notice the highlight areas of many cubes are darker even in the areas without contact with each other.
